Meet our Team
Iranga Shalutha Samarathunga is the founder of the company. He possesses 22 years’ experience in property development and real estate development. Before he started this company, he has worked that time at a prestigious group Ceylinco consolidate, one of the subsidiary company name called Ceylinco Land Exchange. He had joined The finance Company in 1997 and got transferred to Ceylinco Land Exchange as a Manager Real Estate and became Head of Real Estate and later as Director Real Estate of the company.After leaving school, to start his career he started service in the real estate field and has vast experience in all island real estate projects.
Mrs. Maneesha Seneviratne has 6 year experience working at Suyamas & 3 years in the Accounts Division. After leaving school had qualified in AAT and good experience in the accounting field. Thereafter has joined the Commercial Realty group in the year 2009 and has been working as a Director – Finance up to date looking after the financial division.
D S Y Samaratunge has 34 years’ experience in the Police Department from 1st May 1971 to 03rd April 2005 from the rank of inspector to Senior Superintendent of Police. Served as Superintendent of Police in charge of Elpitiya, Tangalle, Matara, Ampara Districts & finally as Senior Superintendent of Police/Deputy Director at Criminal Investigation Department from 1996 to the date of retirement on 03rd April 2005.
Mr. D S Y Samaratunge is working as Director of Human Resources & Administration at Commercial Realty (Pvt) Limited since February 2013 up to date.
She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountant. Has obtained Bachelor of Commerce Degree of Sri Jayawardenapura University and has obtained Diploma Management in Open University Nawala. Initially she has worked as an Assistant Accountant at Hayleys Subsidiary for five years. Further she had been employed in Sydney, Australia since 1998 as a New South Wales Branch Accountant, Sydney Showers Screen and Broens Industries as the Accountant until 2008. Joined Commercial Realty (Pvt) Ltd in 2016 and serving as An Operation Manager as at today.
He has studied at Ananda Shathralaya and entered Faculty of Law, University of Colombo and obtained the LLB. He has entered the Sri Lanka Law College and passed out as a Supreme Court lawyer. He has practiced as a lawyer in Kalutara Bar Association. Later joined Ceylinco group as a legal officer and served for 20 years in the real estate. He started service in the Commercial Realty (Pvt.) Ltd as Legal Manager in the year 2017 and in service up to date.
After leaving Nalanda College he started his career as Marketing Executive in Ceylinco Insurance in 1993. Later he joined Bata Company as Show Room Manager and worked from 1995 to 2002.From 2002 to 2004 he worked as Assistant Sales Manager in Sri Lanka Trading Company.
Later in 2007 he joined to Distilleries Company foreign liquor sector as Sales Manager. In 2010 he resumed duties as Sales Manager-Apartments in Home Lands. He has served more than 10 years and later in 2009 he resumed duties in Kelsey Homes PLC as Sales Manager – apartments. He joined Commercial Realty PLC as Sales Manager and in service up to date.
She studied in Mahamaya Balika Vidyalaya, Nugegoda and just leaving the school she followed a Business Management course in Golden Key Institute of Computer Technology Ltd. Later she served for about 12 years in many of other companies in various positions. In 2012 she joined Lakdinu Housing & Investment (Pvt.) Ltd as Assistant Accountant and served 5 years. Meanwhile she obtained her degree for Business Administration from University of Sri Jayawardenapura. In 2017 she joined Nature Lovers Resort (Pvt.) Ltd as an Accountant and served more than 5 years. She resumed her duties in Commercial Realty in 2022 as Accountant and in service up to date.
